Don Adams, Executive Vice President, Land joined Vencer in February 2021. Mr. Adams’ experience spans over thirty (30) years of executive, land management and business development roles for private equity backed, publicly traded, and independent corporations.
Adams held Executive Vice President, Land roles in a similar capacity with Sable Bay Energy and Plantation Petroleum Company III, IV, and V, all EnCap-backed companies, prior to joining Vencer.
Previously, he served as the Manager of Land and Business Development for Hess Corporation, Manager of Land for Southern Mineral Corporation. Don owned and operated Marada Oil and Gas. Adams began his career as a Senior Landman with Sun Exploration and Production.
Adams is a graduate of Sam Houston State University and obtained a BBA. He is a Certified Professional Landman (CPL). Don served as a Director for the Houston Association of Professional Landmen (HAPL), the North Houston Association of Professional Landmen (NHAPL), and West Houston Association of Professional Landmen (WHAPL).
