Drew Limbacher, Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer joined Vencer in July 2020. Prior to his appointment to COO, Mr. Limbacher served as Vice President, Business Development & Engineering from the formation of Vencer in July 2020 through May 2021. Limbacher’s professional career includes various executive, commercial, engineering, and technical roles for private equity backed, publicly traded, and GP/MLP organizations.
Prior to joining Vencer, Limbacher held the position of Director of Business Development for Scala Energy, an EnCap-backed company. Previously, he held various senior engineering and technical management roles with EnerVest. Limbacher began his career with HighMount Exploration & Production prior to EnerVest’s corporate acquisition of HighMount.
Mr. Limbacher holds a B.S. degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Oklahoma. Drew currently serves on the Industry Advisory Board for the Mewbourne School of Petroleum & Geological Engineering of the University of Oklahoma and is the former Co-Chairman of the Business Development Group of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, Gulf Coast Chapter.
